February 2017 “Give Back” Referral Announcements
February 16, 2017
We want to thank the following people for referring to A&M during January:
George Tracy Jr.
Thank you for all the referrals! Your referrals are the best compliment you can give us.
Each of the referrers will receive either a $10 Regal Entertainment card or $10 Starbucks card. A matching $20 donation for each referral totaling $100 was given to support our charity of the month Maple Valley Special Athletics.
Maple Valley Special Athletics is a local non-profit organization. Their “primary purpose is to provide a community service by improving the special athletic and social programs in the Greater Maple Valley area.” MVSA offers financial assistance to local adaptive recreation programs; to help pay for sporting equipment, uniforms, transportation or accommodation expenses and also provide fun social events.
We will donate $20 for every referral we receive in February to WALK MS-2017 Team A & M.
Our goal—a world free of MS.
We’ve formed a team for Walk MS—a charity walk that is changing the lives of people with MS and helping fuel progress toward a world free of MS. We’d love your generous support as we prepare for this incredible experience.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. MS is different for everyone, and that makes it all the more challenging to solve. The first Walk MS event was in 1988, and since then more than $970 million has been raised for research and programs to improve the lives of people living with MS. Today, there are treatments where there weren’t any before, and the dream of ending MS is becoming a reality. But there is still so much to do.
That’s why we’re walking. We’ve set an ambitious goal because we know with support from people like you, we will have a great chance at reaching it. The money raised will drive groundbreaking research, provide life-changing programs and guarantee a supportive community for those who need it most. This cause is really important to us, so we hope you can do your part to help end MS forever.
