December 2016 “Give Back” Referral Announcements

Each of the referrers will receive either a $10 Regal Entertainment card or a $10 Starbucks card. A matching $20 donation for each referral totaling $160 was given to support our charity of the month Smidget Animal Rescue.

Smidget Rescue specializes in finding homes for small dogs under 25 pounds, like Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Poodles, and mixes of all sorts from high kill shelters in California, Eastern Washington, and locally. You know, “Super Midgets!”

Smidget Rescue is a small organization with one founder and several volunteers. They have re-homed over 1000 dogs since their 2012 inception.

We will donate $20 for every referral we receive in December to the Soup Ladies.  The Soup Ladies mission is to “provide freshly cooked meals expeditiously to support the first responders such as police and fire departments, search and rescue teams and military personnel in times of emergencies and disasters.”  You can follow, like, and support this local group on its Facebook page.
