Each referrer will receive a $10 gift card unless an individual meets the $100 cap set by the WA OIC.  A matching $20 donation was made for each referral, totaling $230 to Serenity Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation.  Serenity Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation is a rescue and sanctuary program specializing in equine rescue, rehabilitation, education, and healing. It has been registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit and a Washington State Charitable Organization since February 2008. At Serenity, neglected or abused horses receive quality veterinary care, are socialized, and given essential training in preparation for adoption.

Our October Charity of the Month will be Neighborcare Health. Neighborcare Health’s mission statement is “to provide comprehensive health care to families and individuals who have difficulty accessing care; respond with sensitivity to the needs of our culturally diverse patients, and advocate and work with others to improve the overall health status of the communities we serve.” Their Ultimate Goal is “100% Access, Zero Health Disparities.”
