Are you smarter than Stinky?

There is a word in the English language in which the first two letters signify a male, the first three letters signify a female, the first four signify a great man, and the whole word, a great woman. What is the word?

Solution to the April Riddle “You have two hourglasses- one measures 7 minutes and one measures 4 minutes.  How can you time 9 minutes?” is: Start both hourglasses. When the four minute hourglass runs out turn it over.(4 minutes has elapsed) When the seven minutes hourglass runs out, turn it over (7 minutes has elapsed) When the four minutes hourglass runs out this time (8 minutes has elapsed), the seven minute hourglass has been running for one minute. So turn it over once again. Then when it stops, nine minutes will have elapsed.
