Each referrer will receive a $10 gift card unless an individual meets the $100 cap set by the WA OIC. A matching $20 donation was made for each referral, totaling $220 to Vine Maple Place is on a mission to end homelessness for single-parent families in South King County—and the need is urgent, with 400+ calls each month from families looking for help. What makes Vine Maple Place especially impactful is their wraparound, stability-first approach: emergency and rental assistance, move-in support, housing stability planning, employment and budgeting resources, and programming that supports children who have experienced serious stress and disruption.
Their Family Hope Center model expands this support with a dedicated community resource space designed to help families move from crisis to confidence—building the skills and support system needed to break the cycle for good.
Our charity for the month of January is Make-A-Wish® Alaska &Washington. “Research shows a wish can give kids the strength to fight against and even overcome a critical illness.”
