“Give Back” Referral Rewards December 2023

Each of the referrers will receive a $10 gift card unless they are capped. State law caps thank-you gifts for referrals to $100 each year. Once that $100 limit is met the excess is then donated to our charity of the month along with our matching $20 donation for each referral.  So the total donated to the Seattle Humane Society was $400.00. The Seattle Humane Society directly impacts thousands of dogs, and cats each year, right here in our community! During their stay at the shelter, pets receive expert medical care, behavior training, loving attention, and opportunities for play and socialization.

Our charity for December is the Maple Valley Food Bank.

40,000 individual visits to our market
100,000 pledged for emergency financial assistance
500 backpacks for school-aged children
1,000 kids received a holiday gift

This charity is near and dear to Christina Bender’s heart. She and her husband Karl volunteer each year with the Maple Valley Food Bank’s

Holiday Gift and Meal Program.
