We formerly represented Allied Insurance, A Nationwide Insurance company. ALLIED Mutual Automobile Association was founded in 1929 by Harold Evans. In 1998, Allied merged with Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, a Fortune 500 company based in Columbus, OH. Nationwide is one of the country’s largest diversified insurance and financial services organizations. Nationwide is also one of the country’s largest auto and home insurers. In 1998, Allied assumed responsibility for Nationwide’s independent agency system including Nationwide Insurance Company of America (NICOA) which operated as Allied Insurance. As of 2018, Allied and Harleysville are now Nationwide and are now united under one brand.
