Renton River Days is an annual community family festival held the fourth weekend of July with three days of family-oriented events and activities. Originating in 1986, this celebration unites residents, businesses, organizations, and Puget Sound Region tourists together for a wonderful variety of events, activities, arts & crafts, recreation, stage entertainment, and many special features just for kids.

  • Other Activities: parade, art shows, chalk art contest, car show, several recreational events, kids’ areas
  • Activity Zone: The Activity Zone will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Zone will have fee-based and free activities for everyone. Fee-based activities require a wristband, which can be purchased at rentonwa.gov/register. Use the Keyword “Zone”. Wristbands are $10 daily or $25 for all three days. Thursday, July 20th

Picnic on the Patio

Ages 50+ will enjoy a traditional BBQ Picnic Lunch and a special guest entertainer “The King of Rock and Roll”. The special luncheon is part of the 38th annual Renton River Days Festival and will be held at the Don Persson Senior Activity Center.

7:30 to 9 p.m. – Music performance by the Hipsters at Piazza Park

9:30 p.m. – SkyElements Drone Show, Piazza Park. Aerial drone show over downtown Renton

Saturday, July 22nd

Pancake Breakfast, organized by Renton Lions Club

5K & 10K Fun Walks on the Cedar River Trail. Organized by Volkssport Interlaken Trailblazers.

Downtown

10 – 11 a.m. – Parade on South 3rd Street
